ART 231 MOBILE PAINTING STUDIO

Working in acrylics, students will explore landscapes to portraits to reportage. Travel easels will be provided for maximum flexibility to paint outdoors and inside, from life observation and photographs. Presentations, readings, and discussion examine each painting mode’s history and contemporary sociopolitical context to help drive independent painting investigations and frame critiques.
