ENT 201 THEMATIC INQUIRY

As a foundation to the study of entrepreneurship and innovation, students will learn the tools to identify and understand problems using root cause and systems-level analysis.  They will study the history of entrepreneurship and social innovation from global perspectives and trace the influence of thought-leaders and innovators in the United States and abroad.  Students will apply this knowledge in their own exploration of an animating question, where they will learn about ideation and the creative process, research and development, and financing, as well as how to present at each point in the process.  The course will include a two-hour lab component, which will consist of self-guided project work, guest lectures, and workshops with Connecticut College professors with expertise specific to the topic of the lab.
